             Dear Reader,

             The hype around automation, artificial intelligence (AI),
             machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) has been
             going on for quite some time and the announcement that
             AI can write texts on its own gave additional impetus.  How
             good such AI-written texts are and how the marketing
             industry can benefit from this technological innovation,
             however, is still questionable.

             It is also undisputed that AI-based automation solutions
             will be the big topic of the next few years, but the question
             arises here as well as to how quickly the immense
             potential of this technology can be tapped for the
             manufacturing industry.
