Earlier this month, Zendesk welcomed marketing veteran Chad Pearce to its Asia Pacific
(APAC) leadership team, who will be based in Sydney, following on the recent appointment
of Wendy Johnstone as regional Chief Operating Officer and Gari Johnson as Senior
                        Vice President, Sales, APAC.
As Vice President of APAC Marketing, Pearce will be responsible for developing and execut-
ing Zendesk’s regional marketing strategy for APAC’s commercial and enterprise businesses,
working closely with the Sales team.

Most recently the Chief Marketing Officer for Microsoft APAC, Pearce brings over 15 years of
extensive integrated marketing experience having also led teams at Salesforce and Fuji Xerox.

The recent expansion of the leadership bench signals the company’s commitment to helping businesses in the
region deliver the best customer experiences, which are particularly critical during these unique times.
Johnstone joined Zendesk last month as the company’s first regional Chief Operating Officer, where she will
spearhead go-to-market strategies and operations for APAC and report into global Chief Operating Officer Tom
Keiser. Based in Singapore, she brings over 25 years of experience in numerous senior marketing and operations
roles at Salesforce, EMC, IBM and, most recently, Microsoft.
Working closely with Johnstone is Gari Johnson, Senior Vice President, Sales, Asia Pacific, who will drive the
company’s growth strategy and expand its customer base in the region. Previously at Salesforce, Johnson’s expe-
rience spans more than 30 years in sales, operations, and marketing roles at Oracle, Intralinks and IBM, to name
a few. Johnson is based in Sydney and reports into Norman Gennaro, President, Worldwide Sales.

Together, Johnstone and Johnson are set to steer the APAC business through these unique times in an effort to
support Zendesk’s long-term goal of becoming a multibillion-dollar revenue company. Earlier this year, Johnson’s
predecessor, Sandie Overtveld, stepped into a newly created role within the business as the Vice President,
Strategic Enterprise Accounts for APAC and EMEA and is now based in Europe. ◊

leader in bot mitigation and ad fraud protection.

As part of the co-marketing agreement, Aqilliz will be offering White Ops’ Ad-
vertising Integrity and Marketing Integrity solutions for all its enterprise clients
across the globe, effectively bolstering its existing suite of programmatic campaign optimization tools. In return,
White Ops will equally be offering Aqilliz’s blockchain-powered solutions that span across the areas of identity
management, programmatic campaign optimization, and loyalty and rewards management, to its global clientele.
By working together, Aqilliz and White Ops will be able to better boost campaign transparency and offer improved
fraud prevention measures across their respective partner ecosystems. ◊
