Strategic communications consultancy RICE appointed Nathalie Ramirez as Director of Digital,
based in the firm’s Singapore office.
Ramirez will support clients on performance-driven communications strategies as well as lead digi-
tal transformation at RICE.
Ramirez moved to Southeast Asia from New York in 2014 after more than a decade in media plan-
ning, publishing and advertising. Prior to joining RICE, Ramirez spent over four years building the Nathalie
digital practice of the Indonesia and Singapore offices of Zeno Group.

Ramirez’s appointment comes off the back of other newly created roles aimed at building a centre of excellence in
Singapore for RICE, to support its offices in the region. Janine Jacobs has been appointed Director of Creative
and Integrated Services, and Agung Ongko is the consultancy’s new Director of Strategy and Insights. ◊

Tony Tan
Autonomy is led by seasoned technology communications specialist Tony Tan, who has been advising global
technology vendors and brands on strategic communications and multi-market PR program management across
Asia Pacific, throughout his career. He brings across 20 years of industry and agency leadership experience to
Autonomy as founder and managing director.
Tan was most recently a senior consultant with Text100, and vice president and technology practice lead at
Weber Shandwick, in Singapore. He was also the co-founder of Siren Communication, which was acquired by
Havas Worldwide in 2011 and subsequently rebranded into Red Havas Singapore in 2019.
